TRIVIA
-The project began in 2009.
-This is Yana Yaseneva's(credited as) first film as a director.
-Attila and Yana have worked together eleven as of 2011.
-Some of the cast and crew stayed on location over night; as the space they were shooting in is a hotel.
-Sharon Mason auditioned for Attila in 2006 for "Cold Side of the Pillow", but there were not roles suited to her at the time. Attila liked her so much he was convinced that he
wanted to make something with her; so he later contacted Sharon and told her that there were no roles her, but he will remember her and when the appropriate project appears, that he will call her. When Attila did call she was "very surprise", as people always say they do this or that-but with Attila he keeps his word. He never forgot her.
-References the 1986 film "Coffee and Cigarettes", which has numerous personal and public connections to Producer Attila Kállai and Director Yana Yaseneva.
-The film started out originally as a short 3 minute project; the "Bar Scene" which was the recreation scene of the short film "Coffee and Cigarettes" from 1986. Which only had a cast of three, starring: Attila Kállai, Dana Gavanski, Ana Nikolic.
-Al Mason(John Van Essence) and Sharon Mason(Pat Van Essence) are a married couple off screen; and this was the first time they has ever performed together on screen.
-Original script title: "Van Essence. The Missing Me" (2009).
-On the DVD cover, the word unconsciousness is misspelled.
-Crew member Jorge Orellana is credited in having numerous positions in the end credits; for one of those credits his name was misspelled-to utter horror of the Producers. "We apologize, and regret that your name was misspelled.".
-At the opening credits, there is a personal dedication from the director Yana: "To Nikki and Jewel as if they were still alive".
-At the end credits there is another personal message from the director Yana: "this film was inspired by and dedicated to JULIA N. NAZAROVA".
-A poem by Sylvia Plath is used in the film; this is how the credit reads at the end: "Poem by SYLVIA PLATH, "Mad Girl's Love Song", 1951.".
-An estimated budget of 10, 000$.
-Shot in Vancouver, Canada/North Vancouver, Canada/New Westminster, Canada
